I am truly sorry for the 2 month delay on this blog post. I know what you all were thinking: Sweet succulent sexy Jesus did she die! Well if any of you have a facebook and are my friend than I'm sure you are mostly updated. I'll try and make these last 2 months seem as amazing as I can whilst keeping this very brief.
So in the month of February I went to Venice with AFS, it was the first time I had ever been there and even with the non stop rain and cold weather, it still managed to capture my heart. So at this moment Venice is my favorite city, and I have made a goal to have a small apartment there someday.

Poi, in the first week of March my Aunt came to visit for week. We walked around Rome (of course I was really proud to show off the fact that I knew where EVERYTHING was), then on Saturday she came to visit my school for a bit, then in the evening we ate dinner with my host family. That monday we took the train to Florence where we stayed for 3 days. Florence was very beautiful and different (but still not my favorite); I got to visit the Uffizi, unfortunately the entire time I was there I had extreme back pains and had to search for somewhere to sit and stretch every 20 minutes. But I got to see so many important pieces, Giotto, Leonardo, Michael Angelo, Botticelli etc. IT WAS THE GREATEST EXPERIENCE!!!

We also took a day while we stayed in Florence to visit Siena, it was super cute.
From Florence we took the train to Venice!!! I was so happy to have been able to stay there for more than a day! Our hotel was right next to San Marco Piazza, and we spend most of the our time just getting lost in the maze of a city. It was so beautiful, and luckily for us it was sunny everyday. One night we went and listened to a concert, another we walked to the other end of the city then found out we had to walk back because the public boats were on strike (like always). I was definitely blessed to be able to have been there again, I do wish I had bought myself a mask though.

The last real day together we spent the night in Pisa. The most I can say about Pisa is that the only thing it really had going for it is the Tower. Although it was a very beautiful small town, it didn't leave much of an impression.
 |
| btw the tower is actually quite short, and rather fat. |
The next day we took a very long train back to Rome, had an interesting dinner and then said our goodbyes. It was great to have seen them but after a week with family I was kind of ready to return to my solitude.
Last week I went to Sicily for AFS's exchange week. I stayed in a host family's house in Enna. My host sister was really awesome and we shared so many similar interest so we bonded pretty quick. The first night I stayed there me and her went to a professional photography studio to watch her friend model; I got some great shots!!!

One day all of the AFS kids went to visit a Culinary Art School, we wandered around and watched them prepare our lunch, then at one point we became the judges for a students Cocktail exam...that was my favorite part :3

| Cocktail Time!!! |
After some cocktails they returned to their posts and about 30 minutes later we ate lunch. They served each course very professionally and the food was very very delicious. I give them all an A+!!!
The next day we visited a school, so it wasn't very exciting. The day after that we spend the day in Catania! It was so nice and very beautiful; but definitely not as beautiful as the small town above it. Taormina, heaven on earth. If any of you are planning a vacation I suggest looking it up. It was warm and had a fantastic view of the ocean! AMAZING!!!

A day after another visit to a school we all went to Palermo. But honestly it wasn't as beautiful as Catania or Taormina. It was very nice and had a very under ground feel to it, but it definitely wasn't my favorite. The Cathedral however was quite beautiful!

Two days later I said goodbye to my host family for a week, which was really sad. My host sister was super cool and I'll definitely miss her. And that gets me thinking, if I was sad to leave a family I only spent 7 days with; HOW THE HELL AM I GOING TO HANDLE LEAVING A FAMILY/PLACE I HAVE STAYED WITH FOR 10 MONTHS!!! I am really freaked out about that day but try hard not to dwell on it too often...
Anyways so as most of you are thinking; did I actually see boyfriend in the title? Yes my friends you did. His name is Simone, and he's the lead singer in Marco (my best friends) band New Harlen. (you can listen to their ORIGINAL songs on their myspace
http://www.myspace.com/newharlen/music) Anyways, he's really cool and I like him a lot but my life is a little too complicated to like him a lot a lot, so for now he's just the person that will pay attention to me for the next 3 months. YEAH 3 FREAKING MONTHS! I KNOW RIGHT!!!

So I think you have mostly been brought up to date, again very sorry for my tardiness...I'm just really lazy. Honestly I can't even have a dairy, I'll write in it once then forget about it. So again very sorry.
Adesso io vado, per non fare niente ahahah. Comunque, alla prossima volta signore e signori!!! CIAO!!!

Ah Addie, I truly envy you. I'm so glad you're having an amazing time!
